“I'd thought that booking this as a solo activity might be a touch awkward, but the host, Francesca, made it immediately comfortable and put me at ease, using a large map to help underline her wealth of knowledge about the products. After introducing the beers and cheeses, she then stepped away to give me some time to sample them at my own pace (the shop was still open), which I appreciated. The Sardinian beers sampled were selected and stocked by the team at the store, of which Francesca is a part, and it is clear a lot of love has gone into that process, with some surprising and different options…”
