“We ended up spending about two hours on a walking tour with one of the personal (human) guides named Giovanna. She was absolutely lovely, so well-versed in all of the local art, and clearly knew most of the people in town. This let her take us to some very special areas like the crypt of the church honoring a young women and then to a great cheese shop where this woman makes her own cheese, and then to a place where the last woman who makes authentic silk headwater is still working. Truly worth the e30 per person. Would highly recommend!”

“This tour was absolutely one of the best. Francesco our guide arrived at our hotel exactly when stated. As we drove he explained what we were going to see. Our first stop was in Mamoiada where we visited the Museo Delle Maschere Mediterranee, here we learned about the history, making and purpose of the masks. A very through video demostrated how the masks and bells are made and how the costumes and masks are worn. From the museum we went to Orgosolo to view the street art, some of which is political dating back to WW2. A special treat was having tea and cookies with Francesco's aunt who has lived…”

“Even though there were no waterfalls to be seen in the dry season (we were asked if we wanted to do the tour anyway), you walk with a very nice guide along a riverbed through a truly breathtaking landscape. Unfortunately, she could only speak Italian, but with basic vocabulary and hands and feet it was quite easy. The tour was definitely a highlight.”
